यम -
आत्माएं जैसे कर्म करती हैं तथा धर्मग्रन्थ आदि सुनने से जो भावना उत्पन्न होती है, उसी के अनुरूप आत्मा को शरीर प्राप्त होता है। कुछ आत्माएँ विभिन्न प्रकार की योनियाँ प्राप्त करती हैं, जबकि अन्य अपनी स्थिति के अनुसार रूप धारण करती हैं।
